3 Strategic Tips to Reprogram Your Mind for Success

The mind is where your seeds of thought begin. And sometimes you are in need of strategies to reprogram your mind for success. If that’s the case — this is the post for you.

You see, your mind is divided into 2 main sections; the conscious and the subconscious mind.

The conscious mind actively performs tasks like calculations, logical comparisons and the active direction of our bodies. Whereas, the subconscious part of the mind controls functions in your body that are supposed to happen automatically. Things like your heart beat and breathing processes.

According to science, your subconscious mind occupies 90% of your mind while the conscious one occupies only 10%.

The Silent Helper …

See, this silent helper (aka the subconscious) stores information like

  1. your personal beliefs
  2. memories, skills
  3. life experiences
  4. circumstances

It also has the ability to trigger emotions automatically and does not have the ability to tell the difference between what is real and what is fictional. As a result, it has a significant effect on our lives yet can easily be manipulated.

You can actually train your subconscious mind in ways that it will help you to attract exactly what you desire in life. Here are 3 of my strategic tips to reprogram your mind for success.

3 Strategic Tips to Reprogram Your Mind for Success

First and foremost, identify where you current challenges are;

  1. Fear
  2. Obstacles
  3. Uncertainty

Knowing where the primary challenges are, will help shape your strategy to overcome more specifically. And, the more specific you can get — the better!

And so, when you’re ready to overcome those challenges and commit to that growth start here …

  1. Don’t let challenges paralyze your action(s)
  2. Surround yourself with others who inspire, encourage and motivate you
  3. Take imperfect action!

Yes, it can absolutely be much easier to say these challenges are holding me back and do nothing to push through them. Don’t allow these things to become your roadblock. Think of them more like a pylon in the middle of the road that you need to find a way around. Instead of saying ‘I can’t because of ______’  try saying ‘I can, and it’s because my reason why is bigger than this obstacle’.

Being afraid, nervous, unsure, anxious, etc. about changes and even attaining success — is totally normal. I do however believe that being surrounded by those on similar journey’s and/or with people who have been there before is imperative to success.

Can you achieve it on your own?

But, why not shorten the learning curve and be around people who push you to succeed and, where you get to learn from their mistakes (lessons).

Imperfectly Perfect

Taking action of any kind is better than no action at all. Cut yourself some slack — you don’t need to know all the ins and outs of something before taking action. Too often, entrepreneurs can get caught in the web of analysis paralysis, right? Imperfect action is perfect, seriously.

Because here’s the deal, you win or you learn. Both in my opinion are wins – do you agree?

Are you up for the challenge?
