How To Change Your Life Today with these 2 Motivational Tips
Achieving goals is not a matter of having “discipline”. It’s a matter of motivating yourself, and keeping your focus on your goal. Today, I’m going to encourage you to follow these 2 motivational tips.
You can combine them with others you already know work for you or, consider them a great starting point if this is an area you are struggling with.
Inspiration is one of the best motivators, and it can be found everywhere.
Every day, look out for inspiration, and it will help sustain motivation over the long term. Note: don’t just look out for it — document it. Write things down, create a short video or voice memo — even if just for yourself.
Sources of inspiration might include;
- online success stories
- friends and family
- people you meet
… and more!
Where you do you seek inspiration from? I’d love if you would share in the comments before you go!
Here are 2 motivational tips for you in this video I created in July 2020 (and totally still relevant).
The 2 Motivational Tips that can Change your Life
Making a decision and taking the necessary steps to implement that decision, are the major nuggets anyone looking to achieve their goals need. If you’re struggling in business there are always a variety reasons this can happen, but implementing these 2 motivational tips could be the game changer for you!
They’re the foundation.
So, where do one start?
Decide what it is you hope to accomplish and that overall you are planning to do better.
You want to eliminate the negativity from your life — people, places and things. Negativity breeds negativity so you want to be very mindful about what you keep around you. Don’t let the toxicity of others invade your space when you are making a commitment to make change.
Get around the dreamers, the doers, the light bringers! And, we’ve talked about it before but make sure you write it down! Studies have shown that people who write down their goals, ambitions and aspirations are 42% more likely to achieve them if they were written down.
Stats person or not — That’s a big deal!
Now secondly, you want to set yourself up to take the right (and necessary) steps to implement the changes needed to achieve the decision you made. As you know, it typically takes 21 days to create a new habit (and only a few to break one).
Start with the basic steps you will need to achieving that big goal or dream you’re after.
Write them down, everywhere.
I always suggest to my clients that they use post-it notes because you stick them just about anywhere — and I’d encourage you to do the same! Maybe re-writing them everyday will be effective for you, for some people, simply seeing them again and again is a great way to embed it in their minds.
Whichever feels best for you, do it!
I’m not sure what you are going through right now but realize this… one decision can change your life, but YOU have to make that decision!
Share this with someone it will inspire or who needs to hear it!
Will you commit to these 2 motivational tips?
